Kabar yang sangat mengejutkan setelah sekian lama absen menjadi MC dikarenakan sibuk World Tour Wanna One, Ong Seongwu mundur dari MC Show! Music Core. Dan tepat tanggal 22 September 2018 merupakan hari terakhir Ong Seongwu menjadi MC. Sedih sih tapi mau gimana lagi. Semoga ke depannya bisa melihat MC Ong kembali.
